Type Locality and Naming
The type section lies from the south slope of Deriangma Mt. to Xila Mt., 6 km northeast of Yunzhug Township, Xianza, Tibet. It was named by Yang Shipu and Fan Yingnian in 1982.
Lithology and Thickness
Limestone. Composed of gray and light-gray moderately thick- to thick-bedded compact limestone, locally with irregular oolitic and edgewise textures; 158 m thick.
